Sabyasachi Gorai, renowned as Chef Saby, is the Executive Chef at Saffron Tales, a distinguished 5-star restaurant. Hailing from Asansol, West Bengal, Chef Saby has crafted a multifaceted culinary career.
An art graduate turned culinary virtuoso, Chef Saby's journey began in hotel management, where his creativity found expression in the kitchen. Beyond his role as Executive Chef, he is a teacher, food show judge, and hospitality consultant, exemplifying his passion for culinary arts.
Chef Saby treats each plate as a canvas, playing with textures and colors to create unique masterpieces. Inspired by chefs like Charlie Trotter, he trained under Chef P. Soundararajan and pursued specialized courses globally, including Pastry School in Paris and Pasta Academy in Italy.
His latest venture, Lavaash by Saby in Delhi, pays homage to Armenian cuisine. Chef Sabyasachi has received accolades, including the 'India’s Best Chef Award' from the President of India, solidifying his status as a culinary luminary.
